As well as academic schooling, we endeavour to give all our students a rounded education that includes both emotional and spiritual support, and also give them opportunities to learn skills that will enable them to take responsibility and support their own families in the future.
The centre provides vocational skills/tailoring and students graduate with their sewing machines, which enable them to provide for themselves and their siblings. Certified students are enabled to make a living and return to their villages/communities to teach others. Students produce their own school uniforms and for other local schools outside the community under the instruction of a local tailoring teacher.
Our product line has expanded to enable us to tap into different clientele. Products are sold and proceeds are ploughed back into the project to replenish materials and consumables and the surplus/proceeds help to run the school.
